What if God told you to "sell all of your possessions and give the money to the poor" (Mark 10:23). Would you be like the rich man and hang your head and walk away rich in the world or would you do as God instructed and gain wealth in the kingdom? It saddens me to see how much the world idolizes materialistic things such as clothes, cars, money etc. Sometimes we shop for way more than we need which can put us in a bind financially. Finding ourselves lacking in needs such as food. We have to renew our minds, our ways of thinking and become more Christlike. Instead of thinking about satisfying our wants how about thinking of ways to help others in need. Or even just making wise investments. Truth be told it is hard for the rich to enter into the kingdom. According to Jesus " it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God."
I pray that you reading this as well as myself will have self control, that we will be in control over our money instead of money controlling us. I pray for hearts that are willing to give to those who are less fortunate. Im asking God to cover you right now heart, mind, and spirit from any corruption that the enemy is trying to place in your life. In Jesus name, Amen.
Renew your heart.

Have you ever looked at a body of water and thought from far away it looked so pretty; waves brushing up against the sand, kids splashing in the water sharing laughs and smiles, boats and canoes occupying the lake in farther distances, ducks with their flocks bathing in the water, rocks aligned so pretty for climbing and sitting, waves so calming, skies pretty blue with a tint of pink, purple, and orange, waves brushing against the rocks sounds so soothing, sun glistening on the ripples of the waves.
BUT
Look closely. There's an ugly mucky look in that "Pretty" water. Do you see the algae? How about that dead white fish washed up on the shore tucked in the crevasse of the rocks. After sun sets it disappears, no longer is it a happy place, kids are gone; no more laughter. It's dark and vacant... lonely. No longer do the waves seem calm but they are violently roaring against the rocks crying out for attention...
I wrote that while meditating at the lake. God doesn't care about our outter appearance! He cares about our HEART! That's why we need to ask God on a daily basis to search our hearts expose anything unlike Him, anything that is not pleasing to Him and ask Him to remove it! Our hearts need to be genuine... loving, gentle, kind etc. God knows our hearts better than we even know our own hearts.
I pray that you, the reader, will be cleansed of anything tucked away in your heart that you may not even notice exists, and we instead have a renewed heart that pleases God. For the bible says whereever your treasure is, your heart lies. I pray for hearts that are seeking You and open to You. In Jesus name, amen.
Who told you that?

Im reading this book called Who Told You That? The purpose behind the book is to reveal the plans of the enemy, actually to stop falling victim to his schemes. The enemy is no more than a liar, from my experiences I like to view him as a bully. Always trying to use scare tactics to cause you to stumble and leaves you with a mess to fix. Hopefully after this post you will become more aware of his lies and stop believing them.
The enemy comes to steal your dreams, kill your desires, and destroy your future. Sometimes it will be a subtle mind trick. For instance, I had the enemy working through plenty of people when deciding on colleges people told me I was not good enough to play at the division I level. But if you speak life the enemy is defeated call on God to direct your paths and the enemy will flee, in Jesus you will find rest. That's what I did and by God's grace I ended up playing at Kent State University all glory to God.
We must guard our minds and hearts at all times because the enemy will take every chance to skew your thoughts, distract you, and confuse you. I was confused about my playing career, in fact discourage got the best of me at one point of time. Little did I know the source that I always turned to for help, the person that I thought had wisdom was the same person that was embedding discouragement into my life. Because that certain individual felt like I didn't stand out I immediately agreed and found myself in a place that fear, worry, doubt, and insecurity was consuming me.
Oncce I realized I was mind blown. It taught me to stop turning to people for helpand guidance, we have to ask the Leader because His understanding is far more greater than ours. And keep in mind it okay to not know all the answers. Walk by FAITH, is saying yes to your will Lord...not mine. And lead me and i'll follow no matter how crazy it may sound I am here to please YOU not people. So watch who you discard information to because without knowing it the enemy will attack through PARENTS, FRIENDS, and FAMILY MEMBERS.
Remember that God always gives you a way out so you do not have to fall into the trap. I pray that you, the reader finds peace in all that you do, and you will stayed prayed up to obtain the plans God has called you to do. ![]()
What's the big deal with this word "faith"

I chose to name this website "Faith as small as a mustard seed" because that is one of the first componets you need in starting this walk.Hebrews 11:1 says that faith is assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. It is through faith that keeps us going, without faith [it is] impossible to please [Him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and [that] He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him {Hebrews11:6}.
It's like having a brand new car, fresh off of the lot without gas. How do you expect to operate without fuel in the engine? Faith, is like these worldly relationships we build so much trust into. Why though? Because we can physically see them? Have face to face communication with them? But God, the creator of all things, the beginning and the end, the God above all gods cannot recieve the same faith from us? Well the God that I have read about can do all things BUT lie, he is faithful, and grants his children the gift of grace. Grace? What is it? Have you recieved it? Yes, His grace is what woke us up today. God is so awesome and He will keep His promise's; plans to prosper, joy, peace, eternal life...BUT to just say we believe is not enough.
Matthew 25: 31-46
31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers,[a] you did it to me.’
41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’ 44 Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’ 45 Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.’ 46 And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
We need to sow seeds while operating in love! Seek His face become more Christlike. Let's live to please God. Be blessed and remember He gets all the glory, I hope you enjoyed this post![]()
